¶ Story
Strakamir is the father of Kester and Virris Revik, and the owner of the Stone & Slab Inn which the Red Stone Mercenary Company calls home.
Born in Parados to a father who worked on the docks and a mother who watched her two children and mended nets, Strakimir was poor as boy. As a teen, Strakimir's bravado led him to working on assembling ship riggings on the docks of the city, while his gambling led to regular beatings (from both his father and his debtors). In an effort to jump free of an untimely demise, he joined a ship's crew and soon was traveling the ports of the Viridian Sea. Strakamir has many stories about those travels, though it's likely best to take those tales as entertainment.
The ever-changing tales about the elven mother of the twins Strakamir shared were pushed aside, the truth (or some of it, perhaps) coming to light when she visited the boys for the first time in summer of 112EA. Attempting to escape the grip of Lady Caerthynna, grandmother of the boys, Strakamir ventured through several small towns of Essodan before coming to Kingsmark. In no time he had managed to gamble his way into ownership of a tavern, gradually trading his way into one business or another that required less work. He bought the River Red Brewery from Finch Sabic in later 111EA.
Strakimir is a con man. A hustler. A charismatic but untrustable swindler who has spent his life looking to -- as the Essoan say -- "swap your stallion for my nag". He is, nonetheless, well-liked by most people.
