¶ Story
For most of Lord Savatri's time as Lord of Kingsmark, Vorad directed the day-to-day business of running the town on his behalf. He could most often be found in the back of The Baron's Swordsman, a small but well-appointed inn a stone's throw from Savatri's manor house.
Vorad hired the men who would become the Red Stone Mercenaries on behalf of Lord Savatri for their first paying contract. For months, he was the only real contact they had for official business, and all work for the lord came from Vorad.
In late summer of 112EA when the Red Stone Mercenaries were escorting Lord Savatri to Assetallis, Vorad remained behind to continue running the town, officially endowed with the seal and power of the absent lord. When word reached him of Savatri's death, his normally calm and tolerant demeanor was lost, and tales of the few present say he destroyed much in his corner of the inn. As self control returned to him, he used his official capacity to revoke the charter of the Red Stone Mercenaries and declare them outlaws of Kingsmark... though how much that will matter remains to be seen when a new monarch appoints a new Duke for the Duchy of Imrick, who will then appoint a new Lord of Kingsmark.
