¶ Story
After hearing Sukhadar called simply 'the Northerner' for months, a more complete tale of Sukhadar Rahan Ajagar was finally provided by Oslad and Kalinik when the group traveled with him to Imrick.
Sukadar had led a group of mercenaries from Assetallis. He seemed especially adept at enabling them to make money, bringing them a job that was to pay very well: escorting a member of the Tax Collectors Guild all the way to Kingsmark, Teo Naieleth.
According to tales shared by Oslad and Kalinik with members of the Red Stone Mercenary Company, once in Kingsmark, Sukhadar brought them an additional opportunity -- one too questionable for Oslad and Kalinik but not for Tagruk. This robbery of a local wedding reception led to the events of A Wedding & Some Funerals.
The Red Stone Mercenaries never came face to face with him during those events, and he seemed to disappear from Kingsmark. Oslad and Kalinik explained they had not seen him since the day of Tagruk's hanging, and did not know his whereabouts.
While exploring Castle Garendane in Imrick, the group met a hooded man who turned out to be Sukhadar. They discovered later that he had thrown Kalinik from the castle wall. Once inside, Kester found Sukhadar had killed Oslad as well. After a casual, unsettling but unthreatening conversation with Kester, Sukhadar remarked that Sereknihn was appreciative they had released him from his imprisonment and planned to thank them. He warned Kester that Virris would eventually turn on him, then said he was headed to Zoryn should they need to find him.
